Dear SCRC Patrons,

In our age of digital diversion, occasions for people to gather together as a live audience and share in the creation of a performance are more and more special. When all you need to do is log-on or plug-in for your evening’s entertainment, a trip out to the theatre may feel like a lot of effort and expense.

But as a member of our SCRC audience, you are special. You know that nothing compares to being in a live audience to co-create a one-ofa- kind evening. And although a theatre ticket costs more than a movie or a DVD, you make the effort because, like us, you are hungry for exciting ideas and the communion of human interaction.

When we think about our 73-seat Beach City Road theatre, we think about the special theatre community you have helped create with your loyalty. It is a community that includes the many performing artists we are able to attract to Hilton Head Island each season. The very quality of our company stems from your enthusiasm for our work.

Our planning for 2007-2008 is underway and this is your chance to help. Your annual donations make it possible for us to continue to explore the full range of new, always engaging and sometimes daring dramatic literature. Please give generously and consider an increase in your giving level this year.
